Rooted in the words of Raden Adjeng Kartini, <em>\u2018habis gelap, terbitlah terang\u2019 <\/em>(after darkness, the sun will rise), her art often carries the aesthetic of old film, creating keepsakes of memory and future nostalgia\u2013 a gentle reminder that, in the end, everything will always be alright.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With her interest in diverse forms of art, from 3D laser-cut works to illustration, Sheryl explores mental health through colour, symbolic imagery, and playful light and shadow theatre, inviting her audience into landscapes that feel at once mundane and otherworldly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Her process blends traditional hand-drawn methods with modern digital tools. Each piece is printed on acetate paper, then scanned and meticulously refined \u2013 threading together the quiet strength humans carry as they navigate life.<em>\u2018Life will always be life<\/em>\u2019.
